  1. Mathematics - This domain emphasizes the foundational mathematical skills critical to advanced computer science. Students apply concepts from combinatorics, graph theory, probability, and statistics to analyze and solve complex computing problems. Mastery in mathematics enables solid theoretical reasoning and supports data-driven decision-making in computational contexts.

  2. Algorithms and Complexity - Design, analysis, and evaluation of algorithms are the backbone of computer science. Students learn to develop correct and efficient algorithms, understand computational complexity, and use formal methods to assess solution feasibility and effectiveness. The study of process models and computability equips graduates to tackle both theoretical and applied challenges in computer science.
    • Design correct and efficient algorithms and use formal methods for proving the correctness and analyzing the complexity of such algorithms.
    • Identify process models, process activities, and process improvement strategies for developing a software.
    • Determine the computability of a problem and calculate its computational complexity of algorithms that solve it.
  3. Computing Systems - This domain covers the principles and practices for building, evaluating, and improving computing systems. Students engage in software development using collaborative methods, assess system design alternatives, and test and validate software to ensure robust performance. Emphasis is placed on both individual and team-based aspects of system creation and deployment.

  4. Research and Applications - Students develop the skills to conduct scholarly research and apply computational theory to real-world problems. They will learn to formulate research questions, design and analyze experiments, and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences. This prepares graduates to both contribute to and critically assess cutting-edge advancements in computer science.

  5. Artificial Intelligence - This domain introduces students to the conceptual and practical elements of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Learners will automate data-driven discovery, design adaptive algorithms, and analyze complex data sets to reveal patterns and trends. Mastery in AI empowers students to build intelligent systems that learn and evolve over time.

  6. Professionalism, Ethics, and Sustainability - This domain instills ethical awareness and professional responsibility in computer science practice. Students will assess the ethical implications of technology, ensure compliance with regulations and standards, and consider sustainable and faith-integrated approaches to their work. Graduates are prepared to lead with integrity in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
    • Determine whether or not a new data-driven business process is using customer data in an ethically sustainable way.
    • Demonstrate ethical judgment to comply with legislation, regulations, and standards by articulating the knowledge of contemporary issues.
    • Examine the application of the Christian worldview within the context of discipline and vocation.
